Google releases next Android iteration


It only seems like a matter of weeks ago that Google released Android 3.1, which included some nice incremental updates to version 3.0, aka Honeycomb. The jump from 3 to 3.1 included scalable homescreen widgets and some browser speed improvements, and now 3.2 looks to build out Android’s featureset further.

iPad accounts for 97% of tablet usage in the US


It looks as if those reports announcing the end of the iPad era may have been a little premature after all. A study released yesterday by research firm comScore shows that Apple’s best-selling iPad accounts for no less than 97.3% of tablet browsing in the US.
