Nokia will be debuting Angry Birds’ Mighty Eagle level clearer before rival Google’s Android will get its hands on it, RCR discovered on Monday.

SingTel’s Adeline Tang talks to RCR about the carrier’s relationship with developers, and its efforts to act as a bridge between Asia and the rest of the world.

Google has finally listened to the pleas of many, announcing that developers from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan can now sell their wares on the Android Market place.

In Singapore recently, RCR was privileged to be able to get a glimpse behind the chipmaking curtain at GlobalFoundries’ fab 7, where wafer upon wafer of chips are churned out daily from within the impressive maze of cleanrooms.

Last week RCR spent some time in Singapore, sniffing around the expo center for wireless whisperings and network news. We weren’t disappointed.

Walk in closets have always been a much coveted luxury, but at CommunicAsia in Singapore last week, end-to-end wireless coverage company, Powerwave Technologies, took the term to a whole new level with its Walk-In MicroFlex cabinet, a multi-purpose cell site enclosure which can be expanded and compressed at will.

Heavyweight in the end-to-end wireless coverage market, Powerwave Technologies, used Communicasia 2010 in Singapore last week to announce and show off its new DAS and WiFi Performance Boost offering, which the firm says supports 2G, 3G, 4G and WiFi a/b/g/n protocols.

Samsung was playing it large at CommunicAsia this year, showing off a multitude of shiny new handsets at its huge booth in the Singapore expo center.

Although CommunicAsia in Singapore was a bit more low key to shows like Mobile World Congress in both Asia and Europe, the event still managed to draw the crowds and the vendors, although some big names like Nokia and Sony Ericsson decided to stay out of show and exhibit in neighboring hotels instead.
