Google has finally listened to the pleas of many, announcing that developers from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan can now sell their wares on the Android Market place.

In Singapore recently, RCR was privileged to be able to get a glimpse behind the chipmaking curtain at GlobalFoundries’ fab 7, where wafer upon wafer of chips are churned out daily from within the impressive maze of cleanrooms.

Although CommunicAsia in Singapore was a bit more low key to shows like Mobile World Congress in both Asia and Europe, the event still managed to draw the crowds and the vendors, although some big names like Nokia and Sony Ericsson decided to stay out of show and exhibit in neighboring hotels instead.
