RCR Unplugged has been playing with the little Samsung S3370 this week, checking out some of the phones pros and cons for consumers looking for a low budget smartphone.
Also known as the Samsung Corby 3G, Samsung Acton, Samsung Pocket3G and Samsung Star Nano 3G, this multi nicknamed phone released in May 2010 is just 99.9 x 53 x 12.9 mm in size, weighs 86 g, sports a 2.6 inch 240 x 320 resolution TFT resistive touchscreen with 256K colors.
The phone has 50MB of internal built in memory with a microSD card slot for up to 16GB of additional memory. The camera is a pretty low-brow affair, offering just 1.3MPs, but on the plus side, the phone does boast smile detection technology and can support video recording.
EDGE, 3G and GPRS are all supported, as is Bluetooth and the device comes with a USB port. There’s no GPS built in, but there is a Stereo FM radio with RDS as well as some basic preloaded apps.
Check out the videos and see what you think.
